Senior Structural Engineer

Take charge of major projects, meet budgets and schedules, interface with clients, guide and develop younger engineers, help manage company technical and CAD practices and standards, participate in business development.

Position requires degree in structural engineering, California SE license, demonstrated experience in putting together well-coordinated structural drawings and specifications, minimum 8 years of experience in analysis and design of major building structures in Seismic Zone 4 using California Building Code. Knowledge of IBC, performance based seismic design and pushover analyses are a plus. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well with and motivate others in a collaborative environment.

Project Structural Engineer

Work independently on projects, perform structural analyses and design of steel, concrete and wood frame structures, interface with CAD persons to put together well-detailed and coordinated structural drawings, interface with clients.

Position requires degree in structural engineering, California PE license, demonstrated experience in putting together well-coordinated structural drawings and specifications, minimum 4 years of experience in analysis and design of building structures in Seismic Zone 4 using California Building Code. Knowledge of performance based seismic design and pushover analyses is a plus. Must have good written and oral communication skills.

Entry Level Structural Engineer

Perform analysis and design of steel, concrete, and wood frame structures, assist with shop drawings review, assist with structural drawings preparation as part of the project team.

Degree in structural engineering, strong technical skills in seismic analysis of structures in Seismic Zone 4, courses in seismic design of concrete, steel and timber structures, knowledge of AutoCAD, and good oral and written communication skills.

CAD Person

Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD 2006, coordinate work with structural engineers, and assist with developing and maintaining CAD standards.

Position requires proficiency in AutoCAD 2000 and later versions, experience in drafting of steel, concrete, and wood frame buildings, reliable and ability to work well with others in a team environment, good communication skills.
